We’re Daize and Eli Marrero, the husband-and-wife team behind Marrero Stays.

Our story began long before Marrero Stays. Daize is from Cameroon in West Africa, and Eli is Puerto Rican. We grew up in two different cultures, but both taught us something that has stayed with us: hospitality matters.

We share a love for traveling, discovering new places, and experiencing how different people make others feel welcome. Through our travels, we began to realize just how much where you stay can shape your experience of a place. The best stays aren’t simply beautiful. They’re the ones where you can settle in, exhale, and feel a little at home, even when home is far away.

That feeling became the heart behind Marrero Stays.

We create thoughtfully furnished homes where guests can feel comfortable, welcomed, and cared for. At the same time, we understand the trust it takes for a property owner to place their home in someone else’s hands. We treat every property entrusted to us with care, respect, and a genuine sense of responsibility.
